We looked for passionate people #OnAQuest to make a difference in their communities. Innovators on a mission to shake things up and get things done.
The Quest Challenge was created to find deserving candidates ready to take their Quest to the next level with a $20,000 grant.
From out of more than 700 contestants, meet four game-changers #OnAQuest:
- South West Atlanta’s Arelious Cooper organizes young people and helps them beautify their neighborhoods one basketball court at a time.
- Brandon Dean Johnson empowers underprivileged kids in LA., and through art, music, and mentoring they’re learning how to thrive.
- In Long Island, New York Paulana Lamonier does more than just give swimming lessons. Through her efforts to teach young people to swim she’s helping to smash a stereotype.
- LA’s Giselle Carrillo is an educator with a passion for community health initiatives. Her belief that health is a human right fuels her Quest to bring surfing and wellness to underserved communities.
